Route Driver |
No positions open at this time
Route Drivers arrive for work at 6:00 AM and pick up their pre-loaded truck for the day's scheduled stops. The products for each vending machine to be serviced are in bins staged in the truck in the order of service. Upon arrival at each location the driver loads the assigned bins on a hand truck and goes to the machines to be filled. He connects his computer to the vending machine for data download. He fills then cleans the machines. When all machines are filled and cleaned, the driver returns to our warehouse where the computer data is uploaded to our host computer.

Pre-kit Work Station employees arrive for work at 7:00 AM and receive the route machine orders for the following day. The Pre-kit crew works together to pick the products needed for each vending machine to be serviced by all of the routes and stages those orders on pallets in the order the locations will be serviced by the routes the next day. There are four general categories of products to be "picked": Snacks, Cold Beverages, Cold & Frozen Food, and Hot Beverages. The day ends when all orders have been picked and staged for the Truck Loading Crew.

Truck Loader & Warehouse

Truck Loaders arrive for work at various times as required by the product receiving and truck loading daily schedules. Generally, they arrive at 10:00 AM and are finished by 6:00 PM. Upon arrival, product deliveries are verified and received into the computer inventory system. After verification, products are then rotated by freshness codes into stock and pre-positioned for the Pre-kit Work Station crew. Overstock is staged for refilling the work stations as needed. As route trucks begin to return at around 2:00 PM, the truck loaders remove all empty bins from the trucks and prepare the trucks for loading with the following day's orders. Those orders are staged by route on pallets by the Pre-kit Work Station crew and ready for loading by fork lift onto each route truck. Truck Loaders arrange the pallets in the correct order on the truck to facilitate unloading and weight distribution throughout the day.
